Greg,

I purchased A Factory tech (psp) shift kit used, but I need to know when did you start making the change in the Accumulator with the different valves and springs for the 01’s? Is there any way of looking at it to tell the difference? And if it is an older model what will happen in a 01? or what should I be looking for?
Thanks,

01SVT, I wish I could be of help, but not sure if I can. Only Gregg would know how to tell you how to check. Maybe if you tell me the name of the person who purchased the valve body from me, I might be able to date it's sale. As for what the old ones did in the 01s, I believe it was excessively hard 2-3 shifts.

I sent you an E-mail
And yes, I survived the layoff, but I hate to see anyone go.

Gregg,
Glad to hear the "Uncle" kept you around. I have my fingers crossed. Engineering is going to get hit. This new re-organization is going to happen in October. I think sooner. Great to hear your not gone.

Dave.

Engineering, supervision, hell everyone is getting hit, I'm curious to know if 10% of the VPs go, I think not.

On a happier note, it looks like all the guys getting laid off will be back next March, the 5R110W is going into pre-production and that should put some jobs back in the building. After that we're launching a new 6R gear program for the new Explorer/Ranger box and a few rumors say we may get that tranny, too, which would be great.
