I was out on the strip lats night, and this guy in a silver L was out there, for some reason he was cruisin aroiund with slicks on the truck..but there was this chevy nova behind him that was so loud that i couldnt even hear my own radio..so i tell the guy to race the L, he said hes tryin to..so i pull up to the L and tell him the guy in the nova wants to race..so he talks to the guy and pull down a two lane one way street..of course me and my friends followed him along with some other spectators..as soon as the light turned green they both hit it and they both just gripped and hooked instantly at first the nova was winning until they hit about maybe 100 and the Ls taillights were smaller than the novas taillights..so i pull up next to the guy in the l to see who won for sure, and he said he won and claimed the victory..very excitin race..i think the l had stuff done to it though, not sure..shoulda asked i guess
