Alignment notes:

Took my 01 L in this morning cause it was pulling to the right. Had Herbs washers and the Napa cam kit. Also, a Belltech drop shackle set.

The Ford dealer wouldn't install the shackels. They did find the alignment out of specs. Used their cam kit and Herbs washers. All work at no charge. $50 for Herbs washers.

They left me a note on the work order. "Customer has drop kit to be added later." "If installed, it will void suspension warranty".

Just a FYI for ya'll.

That's ridiculous. How can a 1" drop in the rear do anything bad to the entire suspension?

Question

Do you have the part numbers for the cam bolts? I here you can get them at NAPA.

Also my dealer refused to install the washers- something about liabilities with aftermarket parts.

What a crock they're freaking washers........

The drop shackles voiding the suspension warranty is a CROCK.

I spoke with the alignment tech and he said that Fords cam bolt kit is beefier than Napa's. I took Napa's back and got my $36
back.

He installed my Herb washers without a peep. He must know Fords toothed fix is no good.

No big deal with the drop shackles. I have been following the Hotchkis thread and may go with that setup.

I didn't take the chip out for todays work. Didn't figure they would notice it for an alignment jod. No problem there.

I got the same story. I am waiting for it to slip again. 400 miles so far and no noise or movement.
