2003 lightning heater core hoses routing

Hi
my son just acquired a 2003 lightning and realized that the heater does not work.
found out there is no hoses connected out of of it in the engine compartment, just two tube coming out from the cabin into the engine compartment through the firewall.
it appears it was most likely by-passed because it leaked or was not reconnected when the engine was rebuild? not sure. noneless i am trying to find where the heater core two hoses connect to originally?
i cannot find water lines / cap or bypassed around there. Any pictures showing where these hoses goes would be greatly appreciated so i can try to reconnect it when i can verify it is not leaking... thank you.

88 racing, thank you

Thank for the response and pictures. I could not access the picture from the link unfortunately.
What I am the most interested is where these two hoses from the heater are going to? water pump? engine block? I cannot find any possible available connection into my set up or it was done very well by bypassing somewhere I cannot see.
appreciate
Nick

facing the engine bay - the connection to the right (drivers side) connects to the elbow coming out of the turkey pan

the one on the left (passenger side) connects to the hard line in the valley pan

most likely they are looped from the "elbow" to the turkey pan line now
