Question Torque spec and accumulator/chip combo...

Does anyone know what the torque specs are for the accumlator that bolts to the inside bottom of the tranny? I need to also know if it is ok to run a chip that has elevated the trans line pressure to improve shifting PLUS the modded tranny accumulator? I know I'll most likely have to get the chip reburned to the stock shifting program but will I hurt the trans until the reburn? I'm anxious to see how the trans shifts with the new accumulator. thanks Jeff

Torque the accumlator to 80 inch pounds.

You should be fine on running both. It might give you whiplash while you have both though

I concur.... 80 inch pounds torque.

You may want to soften the shifts on the chip. Only way to find out is try it, you may like the neck jaring wheel spinning shifts.

I love my modulator valve kit I added from JDM.

The body gets 85-95 in/lbs, the pan is 10-16 ft/lbs.

And the chip will more than likely be okay, but if you get it re-burned I would remove any refereence to line pressure and TV pressure. Hope this helps,

G
