Re: What's the perfect R/T?

The perfect R/T is jacked up and a new 2001 Lightning rolled underneath. The BEST modification/upgrade avalible for Dodge products.

Well, if you are running on what's called a "sportsman" tree, that's usually a .500 light. If you are running on a "pro" tree, that's usually a .400 light. And some tracks, like my POS local track, print reaction times out with a .000 being perfect. So a .510 sportsman light would be .010 at my track. BTW, on a sportsmans tree, it's a .500 light because that's the time between the last yellow going out and the green coming on. And on a pro tree, it's a .400 light for the time between all the yellows go out, and the green comes on. That's why it's hard to cut a good pro tree light, you have to be quicker . Hope this helps.

Sal,

Thanks for the reply. That's why I was getting two different stories. The two different trees. I did not know that.
Thanks

Sorry, I was thinking DODGE R/T, not Reaction Time. I guess I got trigger happy, sorry.

No problem.

When I see R/T I think of Road and Track first.
