The discussion over at NLOC that is. Give it a look------>http://nloc.org/ubb/Forum2/HTML/002680.html
Well for the sake of the discussion, assume that half of the lightning owners spent an average of $1500 on performance mods:
Flip chip $400
Throttle body $400
MAF $300
Filter $200
Pulley $200
15,000 trucks / 2 = 7,500 purchases
7,500 purchases * $1500 = $11,250,000
Some people have fought over a whole lot less

Yup, I don't think that half the owners have done mods, maybe 1/3 or less. I have spoken with several L owners in the area and none of them have mods or even knew that there was an aftermarket for L parts.
The truth won't be out until we have single truck (the same truck) and the three basic mods they all have in common. I'm talking about the chip, filter and pulley. There should be 3 runs with each tuners mods using 93 octane and F1's. Let's keep it simple and compare apples to apples. I call this just good clean fun. I bet we won't see much difference between the big 3's runs.
P.S. We might need Michael Buffer, too.

Thank God for Moderators
Thank God for active moderators. I don't understand what the fascination of the fastest chip is?
Someone can lean it out and add timing to dangerous levels......but is the extra 5-10 hp worth it?
What about the safest chip? I'm not asking......so don't start a debate or anything.
