What music gets you in the mood to race?
Back in the road racing days I always drove with music playing. Had some of those tiny head phone ear pieces I wore under my helmet. I got some pretty strange looks from people when I put a portable cd player in a formula car. Down side was during long races you had to listen to the same cd over and over. Dry track was always good hard rock (VanHalen, G&R, Poison, etc) wet tracks prefered classical. Seem to help me keep it smooth.
Without a doubt Glen Campbell's "Gentle On My Mind" or even "Wichitaw Lineman"
On those special races, I really like to que up the soundtrack to "BladeRunner"

i should have brought my brand new slicks,
but i got high,
i should have flipped my 4-way chip,
but i got high,
i should have filled my 20lb nos,
and stayed out of the water box,
but i got high,
but i got high,
