Got to skip on the L

Unless we save up 4 grand in 2 years for a down payment. We wouldnt get one till 03' when our lease on our current vehicle is up. Even with the A-Plan and trade-ins, over 500$ a month isnt justifiable.

You might consider getting a 99-00, get intercooler fixed under warranty, then you have a perfectly fine vehicle for low to mid $20's. Just a thought.

My experience was like Thulsadoom: never drove one until I drove mine home from the dealer. If I had driven one I may not have wanted it because the L seemed slow for price and reputation at first (1500 miles I started to push it hard but it didn't seem to really `go'). But the L picked up speed with more miles on it and I am happy with it although I'll probably do a chip and pulley........

Took it to the drag races w/ about 5,000 miles on it and got a 13.83 at 99.97 - stone stock.
