Question Dealer in NJ that Doesnt Mind Mods??

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone here has dealt with any dealer in NJ where they had to get warrenty work done or anything else and they didnt mind mods on your truck. I just got that recall today for the wipers and i got the airaid, PSP Chip, PSP Pulley, and Single Blade TB on my truck and i dont really want to have to strip all this off and put the stock on to take her in for the wipers recall. My dealer i got the truck at was All American Ford in Hackensack anyone on here deal with them before and had mods on your truck?? And if you did did they mind them and how was the service??
Thanks
Vin

My dealer in PA is totally cool w/ mods. The trained SVT tech is a huge Lightning fan and he is always trying to tell me to put some go fast goodies on it.
I wouldn't worry about it for a recall. Half of the tech's would only notice the air filter anyway, and that wouldn't alarm any them to run and te the service manager that you have mods. Most places only want to get for for mods if you come in w/ something blown up.

Vin, I was wondering about All American myself.

I dunno how far that PA place is, but one dealer in NJ you can always go to with mods is Downs Ford in Freehold...just gotta be up for the drive.

Talking

Hey Daniel how have you been havent seen you since the hooters meet then i saw the note that you left on my truck when i went to see the fast and the furious the weekend it came out at Clifton Commons. I know you were surprised to see a lightning there with all that rice hehe . Well im gonna find out about Wanye Ford like next week my buddie with the 01 red is taking his in for the seat belt recall. He has bought a few cars from there he bought his white 99, 01 red lightning and his sons 01 GT there so he pretty much knows them there and i told him to tell them about me so we will see what they say. As for Downs Ford it might be worth drive for the intercooler leak or something else with the motor with all my mods. But for the wiper thing dont really think its worth it mean i never use the wipers really because dont drive her in the rain only got caught once or twice in a thunder storm and had to turn them on. So when i hear about Wanye ill let you guys know. I mean i really dont get dealers sometime if something goes wrong with the truck and its under warrenty what do they care if you have mods or not i mean they fix it an get reimbursted by Ford right. I mean you would think they would want to keep the customer happy for hope that they will be a repeat customer or send other business their way.

I had "heard" that Wayne Ford liked to "test" their vehicles a little too much after fixing them... I havn't seen it myself, but its enough to make me want to look for other dealers. No one does burnouts in my truck but me.

Dan - don't you mean Downs Ford at Toms River? Or is the Freehold Ford a Downs also?

I know Downs Ford at Toms River sells tons of mods and they are nice there. They may even be mod friendly, not 100% sure. But I have heard a few horror stories about their techs. Friend of mine has his Saleen intercooler fixed there and an e-fan, needless to say they botched it up and he fixed it himself when he got home.

Freehold, Toms River, somewher eover there.

They sell mods so they know about them and would be less prone to give you a hard time about it. They're all about selling performance cars.

Hmm...maybe I'll just go to All American. I'm pretty mod-less...
