Went to the street races lastnight and a Eagle Talon AWD smoeked me L2001 I was like damm a 4cl and then when I tried to race a turbo mr2 this wasn't any mr2 everytime time I treid to take off I lost traccktion whats the prob what can I do to get better tracktion......

We have a guy with an 11 sec Talon here. It is not even funny from a stop. From a roll it is a little better but still not very close.

 

Go to the races with a pair of E/T Streets

 

I'll have my new Truck-Trak traction bars ready to ship in about 3 weeks. They are a true bolt on type of "slapper bars", and have worked out well in 4 months of testing on my truck and others.

Funny thing is he sold his little turbo!! to a guy in Alaska that Tundra hangs out with. Now he has installed an even bigger turbo he hopes to get into the 10 sec range.

 

Man, I love that car. Not really the car as much as the affect it has on the HUGE as egos it tears up when we set up another victim.

Hey dude, you mind if this fellow comes along? He swears up and down he can get a 13 out of it, but I've never seen it happen (honestly, 12s or better EVERY time). We can race 3-way. . He puts race gas in it and thinks he is unbeatable.

Then the corvette guys get beat by the Lightning, and humiliated by the 4 banger! Its the yellow one on my site, btw.

 

That's why I'm looking at a Subaru WRX as my next daily driver

 

Fast fun cars. Always someone faster out there. My buddy called me the other day and told me he just got his new best time in his 1966 VW bug. 9.50 @ 148 mph in a pan based 2.0ltr w/turbo bug. The onboard computer readout showed wheel spin out to 1000ft.

Don't even get me started on the WRX (STi model preferrably) as it brings about e-vil thoughts of selling the L.

 

I have a 97 Eclipse GST with a ton of mods usually runs in the 12's. And when I go to the street races and race an L and beat him I get this crazed and confused look on their face....It doesn't take much to make those 4 bangers to go fast....I tell them I have some money invested and they understand......

 

Saw a Talon make a 10.31 pass last night, and a WRX turn a few low 12's.

 

Sounds like you need to get hooked on phonics before you get hooked on the track.
