Arrow Silver Lightnings... Post!

We are thinking of looking into getting a new 2002 when (and if) they arrive. We originally wanted to get a Silver one, but could not find a 2001 locally. We went with Black which we love, but with the small upgrades and the headlights, ect. We are thinking of getting a new 2002 when they come out.

Those of you that have pix of your Silver Lightnings online, could you post them? Any year is fine, but I would be interested to see what the 2001's look like with the new lights, ect.
The other thing that worries me is the whole I.C. thing, it seems as though it will be a matter of time before it goes, so I would like to avoid that if I can...
Thanks!
BTW, I tried a search and no combos seemed to work?
I tried silver+Lightning, silver, ect...

I just picked up my 2001 silver Lightning on Friday. I haven't even had it detailed (the dealer owes me one this Friday). I will be taking some pictures soon, I'll try to get them in ASAP. I think they look the best with the silver wheels and the clear lenses, but I must say, I tried everything from flipping a coin to turning around, closing my eyes and turning in circles and pointing to the one I wanted (they had one in every color in a row), but it was a very hard decision.

from another 'silver' 01......just to suggest you think twice about your 'dealer' doing a detail on your new L......probably wash it out in the SUN--what's he going to use(grease-cutter soap?), and who's going to be doing it??? no flame, just want the best care for all of our wonderful Ls.

Actually. they will not be allowed to touch the outside. I would like them to clean the windows inside and vacuum it as I took it to the lake this weekend. I do my own paint work. My father has a 98 R\T that I have maintained to perfection, and he works out of it.

Trust me, no one will ever touch the outside but me and my buffer. This thing is just tooooo nice...

I have almost 12K miles on my '01 and no leaking yet. I do have a lot of mods and have had the chip for almost 10K miles and no problems, except for the clunk issue and I welded the washers..

Friendly Amendment...

In addition to posting pictures of "regular" silver L's (no offense intended, since that "title" includes me too)...

...could someone please please post a picture of a silver Lightning with the AAD F1 hood installed? I am soooo on the fence right now on whether I should spend the money I have on the hood (and have it get beat on by salt and sand all winter) or a JL Powercooler instead (and hopefully have enough money come spring time to get the hood then).

These pics might sway my decision (which right now is looking like the JL Powercooler). Hankfan, I'm looking in your general direction.

Thanks, later...

GK
