Unhappy Plugs

OK. I need help with spark plugs! First of all WERE ARE THEY? I can't find them and I need to pull one so I can get a cross reference with either Champion Racing Plugs or NGK to run with a dry 75 shot of Nitrous. Or if someone has a number for either plug it could really make life a whole lot easier.
I really appriciate any and all help I can get on this.

the plug # for the NGKs are 4177.

If you look on top of you engine you will see four caps that say "Motorcraft" on them on each side of the engine. They are under the fuel rail right next to the intake. Those are your coil packs and under those are your plugs.

These trucks use what is called a coil over plug design. You have 1 coil for each spark plug. This great in all for the ignition system, but makes it really hard to change plugs... As stated befor the coil is the black thing with a green sticker on top below the fuel rails. If you plan to run Nitrous and use NGK plugs, you need to get the TR6's or TR7's.

If you are running nitrous the TR-6 NGK's are too hot. Probably need more like a TR-8 or TR-9. Check with Sal at PSP or whoever did your nitrous program.

A TR6 will work OK with a 50 shot and lower and a small gap.

A 75 to 100 shot should be a TR8, watch fuel to see if it can keep up with the 100 shot, some trucks won't. especially with a wet kit!

and if you want to run a 150 shot, run the TR9's, make sure you have enough fuel for this though!!!

Thanks for the info. Since I will be going with a DRY 75 shot it sounds like the 8's are the way to go. Superchips will be doing the burn and I am thinking of getting a Sal burn also just to compare.
