Speakers (I know, I could only find one thread)

Will 6X9's fit in the rear locations? Up front what is anyone's experience with sizes? Can I fit a 6.5" with a mounting kit or is the speaker too big/deep? What is the major sound difference between 5.25's and 6.5's?

Components/seperates?

Help help help please!!!

I have a clarion DRX 9575RZ Deck and Fosgate 360 amp.

Thanks

I have Infinity Kappa 5x7's up front (direct bolt in). JBL GTO930's 6x9's in back (just had to drill new mounts holes).

More or less how much do you want to spend?

I went with kicker speakers in the door's and kicker speakers in the Qform kick pannels.
Kicker 5x7's in doors, bad a$$ speakers with swivel tweeter and full woofer.
Kicker 5.25 resolutions in Qform's seperates that are some of the best out there, awesome sound!
Both come with crossovers also.

You could fit a 6x9 in the back but the back speaker locations are rather useless when it comes to sound presence, there in a crappy spot! I put the stifner caps in the back speaker location's instead.

How much sound do you want?

You could do 1 ten inch woofer or 4 ten inch woofer's?

Let me know and I'll lead you in the right direction, I've have so many different systems in my L already because I get so used to the level and quality of play and I always have to up it one more notch. I just recently replaced my 3 JL audio 10 inch W3's with the new image dynamics 10 inch woofers and there so much cleaner and louder then before. Nice sub and there cheaper too!

When you are ready to buy some stereo stuff, check out the internet First!! you can get some good deals on almost anything out there.

Try this site www.caraudio.com there's allot of good links on this site!

Rtkilla (joe?),

Thanks. I have already purchased a set of 6X9 Infiniti Kappas, so I think those will be rear fill as they weren't that pricey. I found that www.zebaudio.com has really cheap prices, but not the knowledge I need...

Do the Kicker components sound good as 5X7's? I originally wanted the best I could find, but have kind of realised that when I add some subs and have the windows down, it's not going to matter.

Here's the ZEB page:

http://thezeb.com/caraudio/kicker.html. Which of these do I want. The Resultion series looks to be some good stuff, but I'll trust your advice.

Thanks

Berto

Yes its joe

Go with the kicker I5.72's. there a component 5x7 that rocks. There a really good speaker and there dirt cheap on the Zeb. I paided $325 bucks for mine, but they where also the new thing too! I'm trying to make my self feel better about spending 150 bucks more then I had too!!!! HAHAHAHAHA

Also, when you install the speakers it would be a good idea to either buy some baffles or make them. to make them just buy some duct tape and build it up. Works good. Basically a baffle is a box for the speaker to go it that will keep the air inside sealed up. better sound will result from this!

Good luck
