95 Saleen S351, it's all about priorities. Did you notice the house trailer in the background - and the fact he still lives with momma?

Some people have better things to do with their money then give it to a talented painter. A frankenstein can of paint doesn’t make it go any faster.

Hurricane: Nice catch. I didn't notice that one!

99BLKBolt: Saleen and SVT don't create their own paint. They are just done up by dupont...so they would cost the same to spray (cept you can expect Saleen to nail you with a premium)

Last time I hear..the paint was about a 10 grand job.

I might be wrong, but I think I remember reading that his Lightning was in a bad accident, and when they rebuilt it they painted it mystic instead of factory. Could explain the "priorities" comment made. Can't say that i've ever seen another L painted entirely with the mystic paint though...

LOOKS COOL, but he needs to invest into some chrome L wheels and bu some tire shine for that truck. Then it would complete it!

Hi all....

I wouldn't take the 10k price as gospel...

Up until about a year ago, Ford had some agreement with Dupont concerning the use of the mystic paint... It was ONLY to be used for Mystic Cobras, and you had to prove you owned one AND had paint damage to get your hands on the stuff...

Now that Ford has dropped the license, The price of the paint has dropped... I'm sure it's still high, but it SHOULD be lower, if you are dealing with a REPUTABLE paint shop...

Personally, I think it looks great, but I think I'll settle for mystic racing stripes.... when I get the dough....

I talked to the guy at the Heartland Track in Topeka and he said it cost about $350.00 a gallon. And he had a real good friend paint it for him. It's awesome in person and yes, he has chrome wheels on the way. As well as some engine mods.

Bye Now...Ronda

I`ve thought about having mystic lightning bolts emanate from the front end. When I had a black truck. NOw with silver I`m not so sure....Anyone else run with this idea?

Have you seen the truck on Titus? They're flames that end in lightning bolts.... not Mystic, but the truck looks great. There was an articla in the last couple months... Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords. All show and no go.... but I like the paint.

Does anyone know what software is used to modify pictures... Ex. changing the color of your truck in a digital picture. I've seen a couple posts where people did this.... changing a Lightning to the Mustang True Blue color..... Not sure if that's how the green one was done here.
