Guys:

Thank you for the very positive and encouraging words. I'll get in touch with some
of you individually, and I will keep everyone
posted here as well on a regular basis.

I was thinking about having 2 classes for the trucks. One heads up and one bracket, just like
it was this year.

Are there any events like this out West? Us Westcoaster seem to get left out on the big drag events.

Two classes

I think we should have a braket class for all the regular L's and then a heads up straight ***** out class for us guys that brought the stuff to play with big time.

I personally don't think I'll have the number one spot covered, but I'm going to rebuild this beast this winter and I hope to god with a 200 shot I could hit the 10's with ease! I just like to see the L's run as fast as we can! I'll be ready to head that way next year, lets do it!

I'm with Bad Dog on this one. Maybe bracket for Lightnings 12.5 and slower and heads up for 12.49 and quicker. Just a thought.

I agree with BadDog,I liked the way we ran at WFC and like he says there are only a few low 12 second trucks.I also agree with the sportsman tree a.50 or .40 either is fine. You couls split em up just like WFC with 12.00 and below Pro ans anything above 12.00 as street. There are alot of L's running 12 something's and I like the bracket and 1 tenth breakout as well.I thought WFC did a great job on the event,we must have had around 50 L'S there,it was great. You could have a purse for pro and for street ,most of your entries are gonna be street. If it were set up that way I'd be there in a excuse the expression (heartbeat)let us know and we'll pass the word around.Probably fall is best since the weather is a bit kinder to our vehicles...
And as always anytime the L guys get together it's a good time and learning experience.

I will be there, just post a time and date. Since i'm only about a half hour away, Cecil county would be great. Count me in. I would rather bracket racing since i'm not even breaking into the 12's yet.

Guess that answers my question. If it's heads up then most people on these boards know what others will do so only a small handful of "L"s would be left to compete with each other. Bracket racing on the other hand kind of levels the playing field opening the door for more competitors. If my work schedule permits then I'm in for some bracket racing.
