Talking My sad L crash PT 2 !!

OK I firs told everybody about my crash posted about 2 weeks ago, well here is the results. The insurance of the person who hit me didnt total it BUT it is 15K to fix it. But a man at the body wants to buy my L as is, I sold it to him for $15,500, and my 15K from the insurance will go to my loan of 20K. So that will leave me with a 8,500 down on a brand new 01 silver, I pick it up next weekend about 2 hours from Tulsa, OK where I live. FYI if anyone is wanting a silver, black, or white they have one of each lft brand new, and the best thing is they will sell for $2,000 off MSRP. just post and i will give ya the info.

They are selling brand new here for about $27,000! Without any plans.

Sounds like you got hooked up pretty well.

Sad to see the truck like that though (especailly a red one)

Hey Sprnt21
Thats the same deal I offered you on your last post.
Who did the estimate the body shop or the insurance co. ? have you got you check from the ins. yet ? just wondering it looks like about $8000 in damage to me.Unless they are paying you for deprecation also.
Depending on the year and milage I might have paid you more.

Fellow BA L?

Omg, Lance, is that you?!?! That looks like your Red L I've seen at the track a couple of times.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about the wreck. Red-light-runners are a plague here in the Tulsa area. I'm glad to hear you are OK too. At least you are getting a new 2001 L out of the deal.

Take care.

I may be missing something but ....something doesn't add up here...

You sell for 15,500 plus you get 15 form the insurance=30,500. You pay off the 20,000...you should have 10,500 left....was one of those numbers a misprint?

and just my opinion but 2000 off MSRP is not great

Logical, 2000 off MSRP is a better deal than 90 + percent of L owners got on their truck. In my opinion being in the top 10 percent is a great deal! What did you pay for your L, or oops do you even have an L ?????????

No, I do not have a "L", I guess that big picture of my King Ranch 4x4 wasn't clear. I was just trying to help the guy...and i still think something about his numbers don't add up. Just seems to me that the posts lately talk about people either getting x-plan on L's or finding deals because inventories are up. Time makes all the difference with this type of vehicle. even pontiac was getting over MSRP for the fiero when they were just out as i recall....then things settle down, people realize they aren't that rare...and prices come down.

A post just the other day was a guy that got his L for more like $4000 under sticker.

I am officially calling this BullS**t. I asked you earlier where you could get this price, you won't answer. Where? Dealership name? Phone number? You can't just come over here and just say whatever you want.

sarcasm

dont you just hate all the sarcasm that goes on in these post.

"What did you pay for your L, or oops do you even have an L ?????????"

how mean how immature can you get?

who cares if he has an L or not. That doesnt mean that he cant afford one.if i didnt have such a need for speed i would be buying the king ranch supercrew as well but i love the speed so i am going to Dobbs Ford tomorrow to look at the 01's L's.

i just cant stand it when some immature little kid has to get on here and act like everyone on the board owes them something cause they drive a lightning. (noone cares)

and if your not a kid then that is very sad that your self esteem is so low that you have to make fun of a guy for driving a truck that cost almost $40,000

So if the guy doesn't come back to this very thread and answer YOU, they are lying??? How long have you been here on this board?

Well...actually I got it for a little under 31k with x-plan and all the rebates (sticker was 37,605), but thanks anyhow.

Clearly you have a good point about the money though...it certainly isn't why I don't have a Lightning.

I didn't want to start anything and i really don't want to continue it, I just offered my opinion that 2 grand under sticker was not as good as some here sem to be getting.

Steven, thanks again and go get yourself a lightning...and get a good deal too.
