Is this the very first Bolt?
Is this the very first Bolt?
It's for sale......100K so some goof says. It even has the 4R100. It also has a painted on the rear "This vehicle was siezed in a drug sting" or something. I thought you all would like a big size pic.
It looks like it may have been "Detuned" just a little.
Take a look at the supercharger crank pulley, Am I seeing things or does it look a little small. It looks like a billet pulley, but about 1/2 size.

I have a '31 model A that I have toyed with the idea of putting the L engine in.
I don't know yet, but it would have to scream. When I lived in Texas we had a customer that had a '31 also with a gmpp zz4 engine in it and it just screamed. Almost scarry, these cars are so light.
The L engine would have you pinned and the tires blazing.
I might have to do that to mine.

That is not the first bolt. The vehicle was seized in a Drug ring in Troy, Michigan. When Troy police got it it had a chevy 350 blown engine in it. Don't know the specifics on how Ford and Troy police got together. I don't think they can sell it without Ford having something to say about it. I don't know the legalities but Ford did the restoration on the car.
I heard it was Built for Woodward dream cruise for Troy police to have something cool to patrol in. The vehicle was sent over to the experimental garage where I work. It is a 00 Lightning engine & 4R100 trans with all the correct hardware. The pipes engine mounts and all metal fab was done by the Ford Fabricators at the Experimental garage. The valve covers are stock with the exception on the custom paint detailing on it. And yes, it has the intercooler in it.
If you look close at the picture you can only see the air filter at the Throttle body. Behind it is a Billet aluminum mass air meter bolted onto the Throttle body, then the air filter is connected. Looks better then what we have!! It also has the Hego sensors down at each pipes. You can see the wire at the pipe in the picture.
"Yes," this thing can Haull A$$. It's not all show!!
I was at Woodward yesturday and seen the Roadster. Didn't see the forsale sign in the window. J/K.

If the Troy Police were to use this car to patrol on Woodward Ave. I would think that they might be out of their jurisdiction . Nice Model A coupe but a Deuce coupe would be just that much sweeter. This car was on display at Autorama.
Blot - took me a minute to figure out if you misspelled, but then read your sig. Can't beat the deals on the b-lot, especially on a bolt.
I work at VOGO. I remember seeing that car in our building. I believe the paint was shot here.

Blot,
I work next to the Mustang Powertrain guys! I'm in Lincoln LS powertrain, Calibration. I know a few that visit the board.
Have you walked through the X-Garage lately? You mustang boys aren't fooling around anymore. I gave Zammit's guy's some ***** about my truck wooping on the cobra. All in good fun! It's going to be their turn if I don't get moving on the mods. This will be the look on my face next year if I don't.
