I have heard that there is a dealer in Rome and Gene Evans Ford south of Atlanta supposedly will. However when I called them in June they gave me opposing stories so I bought mine at a nice small town dealer in Harriman TN. No bull and was out the door in 1 hour. Last I heard they still have 2 reds, 1 silver and 1 black on the lot.

Typhoon,
I bought mine on the X plan from Cherokee Ford in Woodstock.
Not exactly in your backyard but it was painless and they gave me a good trade in. If you call them ask for Jason Shirley and tell him I sent you.
The Ford dealer in Athens will Xplan too but the trade talk was a joke so I walked.

Need any more info, e me.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the tips you all. I have a 00 S10 ext. cab V6 that I would like to trade; however, I have pleanty of money in the bank to keep the S10 if they try to screw me on the trade. I think I can sell the S10 in 30 days on my own though.

Typhoon: I didnt have to pay sales tax at the time of sale. You will get a bill from the state for the tax rate of the county you live in. Nothing at all was added to the price of the truck. Drove it home for X-plan price plus the Ford ESP I bought. Their # is 1-800-803-8883 if interested. Ask for John Hightower and tell him Frank sent you if interested. They are approx. 25 miles W of Knoxville. E-mail me for more info if you need to....
