Venom nitrous system
The Venom VCN-2000 nitrious system was profiled in the "Lightning Performance Guide" of the October issue of Sport Truck. I did a search and came across a very complementary technical article about it in the Oct. 2000 issue of European Car. It sounds like a phenominal product, offering more tuning options and safety than those offered by NOS and the other popular systems. Does anybody have any experience or opinions about this?
I also have been trying to find some one that has tried the Venom NOS system on a lightning but have not herd from any one that has?
I called a dealer for Venom System and they said that as long as the Lightning had .5MV on the throttle POS at wide open throttle and a vacuum controlled fuel pressure regulator it would work?

Thanks for the contact number. I called and asked if they had had an application for the 2001 L. The person I spoke with said they did, and referred me to a distributor. The distributor wasn't aware of any systems for the 2001 L, and referred me back to the tech department. I called for a second time and spoke with someone else. That individual said that he just received the 2001 L's wiring schematic today and would take about 2 weeks to get a system ready to ship. If and when it comes out, the list price will be $1,300. Ouch! Think I'll stick to NOS.
