Hello all!

All this talk about the intercooler leak and now the fix is out. Since I don't have the leak...yet...plus have 20K on my "L". Could I just take the truck in and TELL them it's leaking? Sounds like they are fixing the intercooler on all trucks with no questions asked. Anyone tell me a "GOOD" dealership in the Houston area besides Joe Myers Ford concerning this intercooler problem.

No, they will do a dye test and tell you to bring it back in two weeks and then they will check for dye on a plug and in the exhaust and when they see none, NO NEW INTERCOOLER.

You could always pre-dye your plugs prior to bringing it in.... Pull'em out., dip'em in the intercooler fluid and reinstall the puppies.. Not to ethical and a lotta work...
