Hey everyone, looks like I might have time for a road trip for the weekend. Who all is gonna be at the NMRA event in New Jersey? I want to go but I want to make sure that it is gonna be worth the long haul. I hope to see the big 3 up there ( JDM,PSP,and JL).

Also, How is gonna be at Bowling Green fot the NMRA world event on the weekend of SEPT 28-29? I am anxios to meeting new people.

I plan to be there on Sunday to check out what the BIG 3 HAVE TO OFFER. JL, Sal, JDM, AMAZON racing, and their "teams" should make this an interesting event to just sit back and watch. But you know if I was racing I would SPANK them all.

I wont be racing the L, just mainly there with the EMPTY POCKETS RACING mustang. But I will look for you bud

How about a weather report! It rained most of the day here in Michigan. I am trying to plan my weekend. Does it call for rain in the forecast? I don't want to drive 600 miles to sit and watch the rain.

Gates open at noon on Saturday with the action getting started at 4:00p.m. We should see some good times as it cools down later in the day.

What classes are there on Sat. I am going Sat in my Tbird (the L has too low mileage to race yet.) I would like to run for the heck of it in a mod class if there is bracket racing or something. It only turns 15.1's, but its better then watching.

I've never raced at an event like this before.
What other things do I need to race? Helmet? I don't have any mufflers...is this a problem? I was reading some of the rules...it seems as if only the fastest 16 advance to eliminations on Sunday, is this correct? Three qualifying runs on Saturday, and the dial-in must be 1/10th from them?

 

You don't need anything for this particular event - it was three weeks ago
