Question Zaino Vs Cherry...and where to get in MI?

I know this has been gone over a zillion times...so I only really want opinions from people that have actually used both...as to which looks better...the Zaino or Cherry?

Also...where do I get some? Of either.

For you Michiganders...are there any local distributers? Is there a cheap place to buy it online?

Thumbs up

95 SALEEN S351,
I use both zaino and cherry wet wax on my vehicles. I have tested both side by side numerous times and this is my opinion of these polishes. I use the zaino on my everyday driver vehicles because it does last longer than the cherry wax in the elements. But for my 95r and 2000L they only get the wet cherry wax treatment. I like the overall wet look and depth of shine with the cherry wax over zaino. no bashing here because I like both and use both but just my opinion of the results I get from both. Just added a new product in the mix and it works great. after using the clay I put on a coat of one grand omega glaze before I put on the cherry wax and this stuff really brings out the wet gloss look on my red L. it is real easy to use. I have tried the 3m imperial glaze already but I like the results from the omega glaze better. you can see these polishes at www.zaino.com and www.coatsproducts.com for the cherry wax. I think that www.onegrand.com is the site for the omega glaze but not really sure. all these products work great with excellent results. later 95cobra.

I too use both. I use the Cherry on my daily drivers and the Zaino on my Black L. Honestly, I can't distinguish between the two when it comes to the shine. Perhaps that is because I use use several glaze coats and a coat of a super pure white carnuba wax before I layer the Zaino.

Zaino definitely collects less dust, lasts longer and doesn't yellow like the cherry over time. Yellowing is not a problem if you wax frequently

Haven't tried the onegrand glaze but will give it a try. The 3m is pretty good.

I also use a porter-cable random orbital buffer to apply and remove my polishes. I use microfiber bonnets that really bust the shine out. IMO the key to a good shine is all in the preparation of the surface. Good hand wash and clay bar is the place to start.

This is my first black vehicle and when it is clean it is beautiful. Sure is a bitch to keep it that way.

I too use both..Zaino defineatly the best all around for me on my Black 2000. I did both waxes from scratch ( strip old wax, etc.),Zaino first. took pictures, posted them here bout 6 mo. ago,
then heard the hype bout Cherry wet and tried it..did the same sceniero..I could see Zaino was a glassier shine, like a mirrow, also last a lot longer..
