2000 Lightning Help!!!!

I have recently just put on bassani equal length headers and bassani mid pipes. after the install while driving the engine hesitates or sputters when putting it under a load and while just driving while having a ticking noise and it will almost die coming to a stop. have looked at both headers and there is no exhaust leak from either header. the ticking noise sounds like it is coming from the top of the engine. any thoughts of what this could be?

my mods are: 6# pulley, lfp throttle body, c&l intake, K&N CAI, flowmaster exhaust, sct tune.

You most likely have a (loose) spark plug ready to launch. Need to change plugs and torque them correctly, very soon or an expensive head job is coming your way.

The miss could be plug related but if your coils are original, they too could need replacing, stockers are the best.

No problem, glad you caught it in time. Be sure and set up a schedule for yourself to check them on a regular basis since it has shown a tendency to want to back out.
