I feel like it's the day before you go to Disneyland as a kid...

yep! tomorrow is the big day!

I pick up my 2001 L tomorrow afternoon!

Many of you on here have given invaluable information and assistance and I'd just like to thank you all.

The first few items I'd like to get are the Bedrug and a K&N.

What is the most recommended place to purchase the rug from?

Does anyone have the K&N part number offhand?

woo! thanks guys!

You'll feel like your parents after the day at Disneyland when the credit card bill shows up after buying all the new mods...

Congrats on the truck, I would recommend a filter kit over just a K&N - yeah, yeah there are numerous debates on air kit vs. stock air box but the air kit is worth it just for that jet engine sound from the blower

The K&N part number I used was 33-2140. The correct number for an 01 is suppose to be 33-2140-1 but I couldn't get one. The 33-2140 fit ok in my 01.
Hope this helps

David

Well the latest rage are filter kits with a 12" S&B filter.

Most are under $150, from JL (www.johnnylightningperf.com), PSP (www.powersurgeperformance.net), or JDM (www.svtperformance.com, JDM forums). I may have left others out.

I have JL's stage II, which is an open filter kit along with an attachment of hose and a scoop that acts like a pseudo-ram-air setup.

With whichever one you choose, the blower whine increases significantly over the stock air box

Question

DJC Cobra....Did you end up getting your L at Mossy Ford, and did they honor the X-plan?
