Selling a 2002 Lightning...Price??

Hey guys I'm selling my friends 2002 Lightning for him. Truck has 75K miles. There is a link to craigslist for all the info on it. Motor/supercharger are bone stock only performace is full Bassani exhaust, custom paint job, wheels, etc. He was originally asking 18k for it but I told him thats pretty high. I now have it listed for $16,900. How do you guys think thats priced? KBB is around 13K for it but I think thats too low.

#1 have you looked at that truck???

#2 it's worth what KBB / NADA / etc say it's worth, not what you or your friend think the "mods" added

#3 many times, poor mods actually decrease value / potential buyers

#4 IMHO, if someone offers you 8k for it, take it and run

#5 What in the hell is up with whatever incompetent idiot installed that restrictive / improperly routed air inlet / vacuum lines????? I'd loe the name phone number and address so I can go kick him/her/it in the groin for the craptastic "work"

#6 the only positives I can see are the fact the cruise control recall has been performed and it's salvagable and can be brought back to being a nice Lightning

Man I didnt post this thread for you to bash it. I relisted the ad. If the truck isnt your kind of taste, thats fine I understand that but the thread doesnt say to post your opioin of what you dont like about the truck. It was ment for some feedback on the price only. All you need to say is thats its high in price. Pretty simple. but thanks for bullying up my thread

The link is dead, how ever with what info it there about the truck, it's way over priced. Now if it had 25k miles or less, ok you might be in the ball park with the price. Your looking at a 8k to 10k truck (going on posted info). Edmunds confirms that price range. Trade in 7700 private sale 8500 dealer retail 9900. Those prices are for the zip code 63366
