It just cant get any more sad then this. I went to the store to get some oil & filter 4 my truck and *****, thats what i was saying right before BOOM this happend. A man turned on a RED light right in front of me i went across 2 lanes trying to miss him needless 2 say i didnt. He had full insurance im working on a total. Just food 4 thought my air bag didnt go off, this is a 50mph crash !

 

Bummer Dude that really sucks. I just hope you ar OK, that is the most important thing.

 

That sucks! The impact looks offset to the drivers side, but still, you'd think the airbag would've activated. You didn't buy this truck used, did you?

The truck can be replaced, glad yo are OK. For what is worth, I have seen a number of L running gears for sale, so you are not alone

It looks like the Ls are just becoming more rare each day

 

Man that stinks! but thankfully everyone is ok, i believe the reason the airbags didn't go off is because it looks like the impact just hit 1 airbag sensor. i think atleast 2 have to be hit. no matter how you look at it, it just plain o STINKS! JL

 

Glad that you are okay, but I sure would be inquiring on why the air-bag didn't deploy. Good luck with your dealing with the insurance co.

Sorry for your truck. I hate to see a Lightning looking like that. Everyone one on this board, I'm sure, is very relieved to see that you came away with no serious injuries. Push for a total with the insurance company and we'll all be looking for a picture of your 2001 Bolt. Just for info, what was the other guy driving?
