new here 2003 F150 Lightning
Morning, As I am new here I shortly introduce myself.
I just bought a nice 2003 F150 with only 10.000 miles on it. Has been standing still more then been driven. I use it as my daily driver.
as the car is almost like new in and outside, but is 9 years old, i started with replacing all fluids at the ford dealer all, engine, transmission, diff, brake, coolant power steering, and the tires (had a dot mark 2003) replaced them with Goodyears now only 2012.
Here is a link to my facebook page the foto's won't upload:
https://www.facebook.com/twin.motorc...5625662&type=1

The car is tuned runs 385 HP and 456 Torque on the wheels. Has a different pully, cold air intake, magnaflow exhaust, and there is a predator tool woth it, and I think different injectors, they are green (any idea here)
It's my first truck ever. I am from the Netherlands Europe, and live in Texas, Medina. and i am here for a long time for work.
Just like to know if there are things i should look at. that I am not familiar with, or you guys think is a good thing to change.
I like to get the car on the dyno just for the AF readings on WOT, and to be 200% sure all is fine.
Thanks for your time and forgive me my english.

Dynoed the car, it was running on the stock mapping, gggrrrrrr used a new SCT device get rid of the and at Murillo Motorsport the tuner is a old SCT employee and knows what he is doing. waiting on a new SCT series 3000 MAF, The stock pegs out at WOT to see what see is doing on WOT. The car is set in save mode till the new MAF sensor arrives then we tune the car again. It already runs way better with the tune from the dyno and has a way better gas miliage.
Installed Moroso catch can and a new cold airintake. I didn't like the K&N open systemcause of soaking hot air and dirt.

I run 13.9 on the 1/4 mile in San Antonio, with a bad burn out, Bad 60ft and bad reaction time. There is potential in this truck. I didn't have a helmet, I was not aware of the rule if you run a 13 second run you needed that so after the second run i went away.
welcome to the forum!
who did you go to for the dyno? do you know what size lower pulley you are running?
those green injectors are the stock 42# injectors.
looking at the last pic, it seems like you have brown antifreeze in there. i would recommend flushing it out and getting some
new fluid in there.
just be careful on the interstate when you go to pass someone. do not just floor it in OD and let it kick down, you could throw a rod.
make sure to take if off OD if you want to the transmission to kickdown into 2nd gear.

Never heard of your be careful to floor it or you throw a rod. Since when is that happening with intake and pully and only 380-400 at the wheels?.
it happens to completely stock lightnings so a modded one running 14# of boost is even more dangerous.
its just that the stock rods are weak and when you do that in OD it puts alot of stress on
them and they just give out. by taking it out of OD and raising the rpms a little more, it relieves some of the stress
on the rods.

Oke, Here is my dyno after installing a bigger MAF sensor and reprogramming the car with a SCT device:
576 engine torque on thw wheels at 2200 rpm and 372 HP at the wheels at 4400 rpm not bad for a good tuned daily driver this is on a braked mustang dyno.
The car runs 13 PSI. gas mileage improved 25% with normal highway MPG riding on cruise control.

No the truck was lean

Updated the MAF.
The black line is the AF ratio. The scaling on the left is for the boost don't get confused here it perfectly dynoed target 11.8
Great looking truck. With 10k, she's barely broken in. DSG is the best color too
My '03 DSG is lightly tuned, running 12 lb of boost, and it runs a 12.6 1/4.
You do not want to run these boosted engines lean. Do some research on LR and you'll see the threads of fried engines.
