Cool

I saw it during the last caution. I thought I would see if anybody posted about it during a commercial break. Back to the race!

Only Tailights Gordon saw all day :)

Gordon was probably thinking "nice truck! Gotta get me one of those."

They had one last week too at Indy!!! At least they have found a pace car (truck) that can almost keep up with the cars on the track

BTW when it comes to the fastest color --- it appears that NASCAR is using it!!

Now what is the color of Jason Brown's L??

Question

Didn't they use an L as a pace car/truck in 1999 at the Glen, also? Or was I just imagining it?

Thumbs up

This was the 1st year in the last 10 that I have missed going to the race at the Glen. the Lightning was the pace truck for both the 99 and 00 races at watkins glen. it was a red 99 lightning for the last 2 years. later 95rcobra.

Here's my earlier post on why they used a red L...

They have a red Lightning pacing the race today. They also had a quote from Mike Helton (Pres. of NASCAR) about it... It went: "We had to use a red Lightning today, because if we would have used a black one, the Winston Cup cars wouldn't be able to keep up with it." Nothing that we didn't already know though...

Later, Roger
