Unhappy Calling high roller

Matt, the straight pipe/muffler test did not go well as it took 15 minutes to get everything unhooked and unbolted but the damm mufflers did not want to come off in the gravel pits of lapeer and i spent an hour trying. This is a lot easier at my buds muffler shop than at the strip. I can tell you that i have not seen 12,s since changing back to the bassani cat back and those plugs you and i don't like[won't mention any names lol]So there won,t be any track testing for this and i am going back to straight pipes with the x pipe and the plugs i had last.FASTNU was there and came over and wondered what was going on with the L up on jack stands and exhaust laying all over the place lol. I am going to use the last section of the bassani without the mufflers so i will have the bassani look and straightpipe sound.

Greg,
Just curious what was your times today along with your mph and 60ft.times!This will help me determine how much your straight pipes helped you because i ran yesterday afternoon and the temperature was 76-80 and i ran 12.92 2 times in a row at 107!! I am coming up this saturday morning between 8am to 2pm to meet up with lightning jeff and hollander jeff because his dad is renting out the track that morning and the weather is supposed to be really cool that day! I hope!!! LOL I would like to see you make it saturday morning if possible.

P.S I will most likey have straight pipes on my L with the x-pipe by this saturday!

Cool

Matt, 13.18-13.30s at 107- 108 i know this doesn;t help much because with no traction i was spinning em a third of the way down the track. Also i have to question lapeers timers and i am not alone on that. However FASTNU was running close to his average i beleive. my 60fts were all in the 2s lol. Yes jeff invited me to stanton the 18th,it will be the first time other than last years cyberbrawl that i was ever at the track by 8 a.m. I am sure you know who is running a convertor and his magic drag shocks are the ****, **** being the key word.wait till mmff trys to tell everyone how great these 500.00 drag shocks are in an up upcoming issue.

Cool

Greg,
Get those overrated plugs out and put your favorites back in,you may want to check with Chuck about which one to use because i saw where he posted about using the D instead of the B's which you were using!Put your straights back on and hopefully you will be back where you should be right beside me!!LOL
I am very nervous about putting straights with the x-pipe on my L this week because of the possible drone at cruising speeds and occasional foot stomping around town getting more attention, but if i want to go faster i need to try this to find out!See ya Saturday!

No i am happy with my PSP pulley for now,i am going to run the x-pipe for my muffler like you do for my next mod then maybe a 3 plate convertor next spring after that.I am waiting for a new race program from Sal to try next weekend that he feels is faster than the one i have now! I know of 1-2 L's that will be there on saturday that will have the new 3# on there trucks is what i was told and lets see how they run compared to what they were running.Later

Matt & Greg,

Yes they are D's and going back in today. Mister lean plugs (colder my a$$) are coming out for a little piece of mine while I'm cruising around.

Out of curiosity, I just went and checked one since I'm am stock (everything but the electric fan). We are talking stock air filter in the box and everything. It is not as lean as it was and is actually showing signs of tan (even though there is gray still showing.) It might not be a bad plug if you're totally stock. This setup is when my stock plugs ran their Richest.
