He's a good guy. Fax number is on his site: www.powersurgeperformance.net ... sometimes he is tough to get in touch with, but he is honest about things and will eventually get in touch/process your order. Fax is usually the best way to order, and phone calls in the evening are usually the best time to get in touch. Make sure you're calling the right number, there was a change in that recently as his sales guy is no longer there...

Bolt Action, we have recently gone through some changes with our correspondance, and are currently cathing up on call backs and e-mails. Starting Wednesday the 15th, we will have a person manning the phones full time, 10-5, Mon-Fri. People should no longer have trouble contacting PSP and hopefully this will end our ongoing problems with customer correspondance. Our number is 631-821-3622. That is our phone and fax number. If you just want to place an order and have no questions, you can just fax us your info. If you have left a message on the machine for a call back, we should be getting back to you in the next few days.

Daniel, thanks for chiming in.

I will try that. I really would like a 4-way chip and pulley for now. Thanks Daniel!

Angry PSP

I have had the same problems. I have tried E-Mail,I tried calling for two hours and never got an answer. After two months I finally received my filter kit. But I also ordered a 4-way chip through Spiro and now I can`t find out if Sal has this order or not. I moniter the PSP message board but Sal very seldom answers post on his on board. He posts more on this board than on his own.

I dont quite understand the messae board thing either.....Sal's last reply to someone on his own board was a month ago. I know I dont know how Sal's life is and I'm trying to not be negative, and PSP does make very good products.......but all the people over on his own forum just want a simple answer...it looks like over 5 people have cancelled their orders over that board, and maybe some people could be more patient if they got ANY response?

I dont run a business and I'm not telling anyone eles how to.....just giving my opinion/advise?

I mean.....Sal's posted 47 times here in the last month.....once on his own board?

It's ok JBL, your thoughts are valid ones. I had not been visiting my board because I had hired somebody else to do that job so that I wouldn't have to, which would allow me to spend more time on making products and getting orders out. It has only been recent that I found out that job was not getting done. I have spent the past few days contacting customers to verify orders, and answer thier questions via phone, and E-mail. I still have a lot of people to get back to, and I will try to get to the PSP board once that is all under control. I am active on this board because I am a supporting vendor, and I have to keep my profile high. For those who have had a hard time getting us the past few weeks, I apologize and hopefully with our new full time phone person, this will neve happen agian. For the people who have cancelled recent orders, I understand. For the people who have waited for thier orders, they know that when they recieve them, they are getting the best parts thier money can buy. The time I don't spend talking to customers is time I spend making sure our products are the best. PSP quality is superior to any other vendor's for the same item. I pride myself on making our stuff the best, even if it costs a few bucks more, and my customers can back that up.

My mod prayers have been answered!

Thanks Sal! It was a pleasure talking with ya this morning and I look forward to having one fast '01 L here in San Diego. I can hardly wait for the parts to arrive next week(4-way chip, pulley, filter kit: pre FAST-air). I'm soo glad I found this board or it would have taken much longer to realize the aftermarket for our Lightnings!

Thanks for clearing that up Sal - now I understand the situation.....and by the way I'm enjoying the filter kit. It really makes the blower come to life! I kind of expected the blower to be too loud...as I didnt really like the sound that much before the kit, but now it sounds a bit louder and ALOT better - I cant really explain why, but before it just sounded sick.......

The installation was easy and simple......the only part that took any time at all was putting that "gasket adhesive" on there - only because the stuff I got was pretty messy - hard to get on there evenly, and I had to scrape off alot of excess with my finger nail

So when's the FastAir setup going to be in production? Would it adapt to the 12" filter I already have?

Thanks

Cool

JBL, glad you like the filter kit, we put a lot of effort into making it better quality than all the other kits on the market. The FASTair should be done very soon. I had 100 boxes made up, but the guy used the protoype CAD program, not the revised box design CAD program, so he's go to do them all over again. You can use every single part of your 12" PSP filter kit with the FASTair, so nothing you have is for waste. You will just need the upgrade instead of the full kit.

So Sal, IF I wanted to take my truck from stock to kicka$$ it would only take a week or so to get parts? Not that Iam thinking of doing this, because of warranty concerns, mind you, but after my 36,000 maybe i'll take the hp jones! I only sat that because there is NEVER enough...LOL

Thanks Sal. I got my filter for my 2k L the other day. I realize it wasn't your fault and stuck with my order expecting the best parts money can buy and recieving them. I don't feel sorry for the folks with no patience. I guess second best is enough for them. Thanks again.
