Exactly like straight pipes sounds about right.I drove through no less than six states with this set up and never had a problem with the cops.I recently put my bassani cat back on for a comparison at the track and i miss my x pipe/straight pipe set up.This is pretty loud when you get on it and there is a drone at 2k but life is short and you will get used to it lol. Having the cat back on sounds wimpy after this set up.If you want even louder delete the cats, this is really loud. After testing[swapping at the track] i will go with the x pipe/ straight pipe set up whether there equal[et/mph wise] or if the x pipe/straight pipe produces more et/mph. My cats are back on as you lose et with them removed.

A question on this Bassani x pipe. Is it a dual 2.5" in, 2.5" center, and dual 2.5" out? What would be the difference with going with a magnaflow x pipe?

Greg,
Did you do your comparison between your exhaust systems yet? If you did what did you find out.
