How about $148 for 22 gallons of fuel?

How about $148 for 22 gallons of fuel?

If this happened here I'm afraid I would have to brush the dust off of one of my Schwinn Bikes.

that's still less than $7 a gallon... so not terrible (expecially if you've ever lived in Europe)

People would still be driving around like normal. I already cut back but I would still drive my truck to work and back and to families house on weekends.

That was a couple of years ago !

Now here we pay $8.52 for a gallon.
That brings the total for 22 gallons to $187.50

When I was in Germany, Ireland and Italy last year for a month, it was easily over $100 US for a fillup on the Audi rental I had. But I would pay that gladly over here if we could have the Autobahn....but that would never work in the States. lol
