What mods to use in phx area?

Hey guys,I'll be picking up my new '01 later this week and I've seen where another phx L owner states even heavily modded L's w /slicks can only run low 13's here. Are there any specific mods that would work better for me in this very warm climate?Ive already ordered '01 chrome wheels and plan on chip/filter/pulley mods.Should I stay with the same mfg for all 3 mods?I've heard of multi program chips w/warm weather programs for summer & a more aggressive program for winter.I would appeciate any input from other warm weather guys, like what times you have run,and with what mods.Thx!In advance!

Arizona/Georgia temps.

I've spent a few wks. in Yuma yrs. ago--damn--i was in the marine corps' yuma air base. You talk about 'hot'! Several times a day, we couldn't touch the aircraft skin--our skin would 'stick' to it.

I'm still in the low 13s. Maybe a power cooler and an electric fan would help both of us. See sig.

Thanks dan.pretty hot in ga.this summer too I guess!I read somewhere where somebody had a 4-way chip w/a warm weather program.from what I'm seeing all the usual mods still are effective, although s/c engines are very heat sensitive.thx again!

PSP has a 4-way chip---don't know about warm weather program with it. JDM has a 'warm weather' program on a single or a flip chip(I think).

Mine runs pretty dang good with either of my chips.
