Are 12s possible in 2001 L without a chip?

What kind of mods, chip excluded, would it take to get into the 12s with a 2001 L?

The one major problem is going to be that without a chip tuned for the mods that are going to significantly reduce ET's (e.g. nitrous), your A/F ratio is going to be leaned out considerably.

run a wet kit and you can dump more fuel in there.

that way you can adjust the Air/fuel ratio.

make sure you buy an EGT so you can tell what the A/F is though.

Talking

Most definitely possible,i ran a 13.14 at 106.40 with just a PSP pulley and throttle body and no chip in 70 degree air with several other L's watching me!If i had 55-60 degree air i know my L would run high 12's without a chip with no problem!

Matt

Silver 01
12.85
109.40
80 degree air

It all depends on your speed at the beginning of the 1/4 mile

Tuesday at Thunderheat/hill, I was entering the main straight at 45+ (I wasn't watching the speedo). I don't know what my speed or time was 1320 ft later because I still had about 400+ ft to go before I'd enter the braking zone.

You guys should give it a try sometime!

Spike

BTW
Air temp: 104 degrees
Track temp: 132+ degrees
