Blow off valve?
Blow off valve?
do the L's have one? Are these only for turbo's? If we can use them, does anybody offer an aftermarket one? Yes, probably a stupid question, but i don't know.
Correct me if im wrong but blow off valves (BOV's) limit the amount of boost a turbo can make. So the only reason I could see in haveing a BOV on these trucks in this would for fuel economy by limiting the amount of boost. But all the BOV's i have seen are for a pipe that goes into the intake.

I had two HKS blow off valves on my stang and currently one on my mazda. Generally, a blow off valve is used for turbos only. It makes the coolest sound when it opens and vents.
It's function is to relief excess boost when the throttle plate is shut instantly. In other words, let your foot off the gas, boom it opens.
