Question How much for '01 rims?

Just put a set of '01 rims on my truck, so I plan to put the '00s up for sale in the classifieds. Problem is, I have no idea how much to ask for them. They have never been curbed, but they do have some paint scratches on the rims from the tire tools. Suggestions?

Never mind, while scouring MM&FF for 4.10 gears I saw one vendor offering them new for $175 each, so I think I will offer them for half price, $350 for the set.

Alphadoggy, you might advertise them for someone the wants to strip them and have them polished. If there is minor scratching, the aluminum will corrode, and eventually take off the paint.

Or, you could have them polished and sell them for about $300 ea. They would look like new!

How's your truck running with the new motor?

Unhappy

The motor sounds good, but hard to tell how the truck is running while its up on the hoist.
Ran into major issues with a botched rear end job and am now desperately trying to locate a 4.10 ring and pinion, STAT.

A guy I know who has a look-a-like Lightning bought a set of '00 rims for $1400. He thinks he got a steal. I was not going to tell him he could of got them for about $250 a rim.
