Thumbs up JDM pulley, fan, and H2O pump installed

At Bristol this past weekend I had the Lower pulley installed on Friday and I must say it is a very nice piece. After looking at it, there is no way I would install a pulley that did not have the cage to absorb the load from the blower. The pulley really livened up my low end. The truck really come off the line now.
On Saturday I had the Electric fan kit installed and the Mustang water pump. The rotating weight reduction in the water pump and the fan is where it is at. The new water pump is less than half the original pumps weight and the fan that we removed must have weighed 8 lbs. The engine revs so much quicker now. I reeally do not know what the HP gain is but it is well worth it. The fan kit looks completely stock installed. It looks like it came from the factory with the fan installed. The JDM crew are perfectionists. I turn on the AC and the fan turns on automatically, and when my water temp get to 185 degrees F the fan also comes on automatically. No more sitting in traffic and my AC not being cold enough!! Also what suprised me is that my road noise is now cut in half. I could not believe the stock fan was so loud at cruise on the interstate.

i found out today why you need to wire the fan to come on with the airconditioner.98 degrees and the coils on the air conditioner had no air flow till the fan came on at 185 degrees.felt like the heater was on.mine will be wired up this weekend!

temp sensor

Where did you wind up mounting the temp sensor? The intake or by the oil filter? Thanks in advance!!

Why move it to the block if you already drilled into the intake? I was told the intake is the best place for the sensor. Just wondering.

Before I take it to the dealer to get the intercooler fix I want to have it moved. They replace the intake and intercooler as one unit.

Fan was $455
Water pump was $105

Hey Rob, just some FYI to save you the trouble of moving the sender. The intercooler fix doesn't have anything to do with your lower intake. They replace the core, and the middle intake section between the blower and lower intake, so you don't have to move it.
