Question Calling those who installed full Bassani themselves

Anyone who installed the full Bassani exhaust (headers and all) did it require a welder? HOw did you hang it? In the kit it looks like a bolt together but I am not sure. I want to get this system and only will if I can do it without a welder because I don't have one. Also it it close to the loudness of straight pipes? I'm running straights now and I still want a loud enough sound. And where do I get those locking header bolts?

I already did a search and it didn't answer these questions.

Thanks,

Darryl

No welder needed, just patience, it is not an easy install. Header are the toughest part. Bolts together, nice system great quality and I love the sound. I have not heard straight pipes, so I can't comment on that.

I used the header bolts that came with the system. Don't know where to get the others

Hope that helps
Paul

My only problem with the system is $$$. I can't justify that much money for sound and appearance that you have to look for.

Thumbs up

Nice system, good sound, no welding, you'll pass cars with straight pipes and not hear them,it's a good system, pricey, not alot of performance gain but I love the sound of my truck!!!!

Stage 8 is the company that makes the locking header bolts. Makes the install a little harder 'cause some of the keys need to be ground to ease installation.
