Bars Leaks users --->

Like many of you, I had given up hope on Ford issuing a "fix" for the intercooler, and decided to use some Bars Leaks in it. Well, now there is a fix, and I was curious if anyone has found a successful way to flush the Bars Leaks out of the system.
The dealership has me on file as having the leak, but I want to avoid any shenanagins that may be brought forth due to the Bars Leaks, i.e "your units not leaking"..etc..

Thanks!!

I don't know if you can get it all out with a flush, but if they've already seen the leak hopefully you won't have an issue. Mine wasn't leaking when I added some, so I'm not sure how I'm going to get the 'fix'...

The IC radiator has a drain on it. I think that I would probably go the fast route by disconnecting the IC hoses at the tank, and extending them to use a large bucket. Fire up the truck and use the IC pump to run fresh water/flush through it, draining back into the bucket.

The pump should go on when you fore the truck, mine does.
