Talking Installed 2001 Grills On 00

I just installed the upper and lower grills from the 2001 on my 00. Man what a difference those grills really clean up the front of the truck and make it look like a new truck. It was a little of a bitch putting on the lighted logo because have to modify the grill a little to get the logo to sit flat but well worth it. Ill post some pics when I take them.

It wasnt bad at all 402 and that was with 40 bucks shipping to my door the box was taller then me and im 6'3 hehe. Got them from www.fordpartsonline.com they are great and cant beat their prices. I had to wait a little because they were on back order but well worth the wait. The funny thing was that the smaller bottom grill was more then the top grill that came with the whole surround that goes around the headlights. But just give them a call at fordparts and tell them what you need they will take good care of you.

Question

400 bucks? Truly? I have mixed feelings about the 01 grills. They do look "clean" but then, they look similiar to all the other Crown Vics....Considering billet but not sure what kind. I like the black look of the 01's

Where the pegs from the normal ford logo sits are to small for the pieces that stick out the back of the lighted logos. So I just cut a little bit off the grill so that they fit better dont take to much off or you wont have anything to tight the nut to. Also there is hole in the center of where the logo goes that you might have to make bigger so that the wire from the logo can fit through hope that helps.

Did your old fog lights match up to the new bumper cover?
