Got me a compressor deal

Home Depot is clearing out the 24 gallon Ingersol Rand "Garage Mate" air compressor line. This is a 100% continuous duty (using synthetic lubricant) 5.7 cfm unit that's rated at 5 hp peak and has a max psi of 135 lbs. It's a 120 volt system. It's a vertical with a cast iron crankcase twin cylinder motor. I've been wanting to get this one to blow out all the local construction road dust that coats the L motor as well as for other tasks. They are going for $349.00 List is over $500. I saw them for around $449 when I last looked. I got mine sittin' in the garage now. Yippie! The model number is SS3R2-GM

Air Tools

I love em, they are such a help.

No only if I can get a lift installed in my garage.

Now it begins.

Air tools, paint gun, air tank for the track, etc.

You won't believe how much work an air compressor does. Mine is hooked to the garage light circuit. When I open the door to enter the garage and flip on the lights, the air comporessor automatically goes on.

Just kidding, but you will use it a lot.

My compressor and air tools are probably some of the best things I have in my arsenal of tools.

Now there is never a reason to run improperly inflated tires.

I have two. Yea, I know, who needs two? I am going to run 3/4 inch Schedule 40 PVC around the garage with T's to have air hose connections at my drill press and the front and back doors. I get tired of playing with 100 feet of air hose. The Schedule 40 PVC is rated at 400 + PSI so no worry about the pipe bursting.
