I am in need of the part number for the in dash shifting mechanism (P R N D 2 1). I had the one in my 01 replaced and the dealer put in the standard F150 mechanism that is black and front lit vs. the lightning that is white and backlit. Dealer claims the lightning and the standard F150 have the same part number.
Obviously untrue.

 

That is FUNNY! Sorry, I don't have the phone number, but that is just fuggin ridiculous! Dealers are worth about a heap o cow***** when it comes to our vehicles. They shouldn't treat us like the average DF's that they get with there minivans and such. WE ARE SVT CUSTOMERS AND SHOULD BE TREATED AS SUCH WITH KNOWLEDGEABLE SALES AND SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES!!!
