wheels and slicks
If you want to run 10.5" tires, which works well, buy F150 "take off" rims from http://www.tirerack.com
They are real light and look good with MT Street ET 16x26x10.5
If you want to go with the 11.5" slick, it's a bit more expensive because you need 10" rims.
You can buy any 16x10 5 lug/135mm from American Racing or whoever. You can then use 16x26x11.5.
I have just as good a 60' time with 10.5 as most do with 11.5. My 60' hoover around 1.6-1.7.

Leonard:
I can't answer all your questions i.e., offset, backspacing, etc.
I can offer this; JL suggested M/T E/T streets--26x11.5x16, mounted on ARE Baja wheels--16x10". You will also need to get 'special' lug nuts as the thread count/inch was different on the ones that came w/the wheels(my tire guy knew which to order?). There are no clearance problems w/the 16" wheels--15' wheels will cause you to have to grind the calipers. The new tires/wheels really helped at the strip: 13.177@104.51 vs. 13.477@102.54.
