going to dyno

I am going to dyno my bone stock 01 L Fri. That way I will have a base line to measure all my future mods both individually and combined with all other mods.
OK here we go!! without offending anyone I am looking for honest and experienced opinions re: Diablo chips, they are bringing out a flip (2 sided) chip in about 2-3 weeks, and I thought for $230. and letting this guy, who is new to L's tune it for me is a good price and a good way to go!! I don't want to know which chip you think is better just comments re: Diablo Thanks!!

I wouldn't let a guy learn on my truck. I would stick with someone that has been doing these trucks for awhile. My understanding is that there a few tricks and codes that a newbie will be clueless about.

Good Luck with the dyno; try to keep everything as consistent as possible when doing pulls. I have found that a hot motor really costs HP.

You are probably right about the newbie thing, I do know that he talks with JohnnyLightning on a regular basisi so I am sure when it comes time to dyno tune my truck he will spend some time with Johnny first and or during the tuning

Stick with either the Johnny Lightning Diablo or PSP or JDM. Don't skimp on a chip. Too much riding on it. Save money else where and buy a known product.
