Okay, calling out all the local northwest Lightning owners for "Thunder Truck Drags" at Woodburn Drag Strip on Saturday August 4th! This event is for trucks only, and was a really fun event last year.

This will only be my second time out as a participant, and I'm really excited to get some more track time.

The extended forecast according to weather.com for that Saturday is partly cloudy, highs in the upper 70's.

We will be meeting informally at the Fry's Electronics parking lot at 7:30am. There is a McDonald's there, so you can do breakfast on the road. I hope to meet a lot of you there and caravan to the track
