Lisa,

The SVO throttle body comes with the TPS. It is just a bolt on. Be sure you get one that has been modified for the Lightning. The throttle linkage is on the opposite side compared to the Cobra.

Several sell them with the linkage already modified.

They are: JDM, BaBolt and Lightningforce, probably others to.

Cool T/B's

Lisa,

The single blade/ oval bore T/B from Ford has the tps atready in place but, it must be reversed. The linkage lever must be changed. Anybody selling them should be offering them already changed. I purchased mine from Mark at LightningForce. I paid less than $400.00 for it. Ready to bolt on.

Lightbulb ?

Thanks for all the replys, but the reason I wanted to know about the throttle body position sensor is I have a chance to get a used one at a good price . The person that has it got it from JMD, but for what ever reason they told me the throttle body position sensor was broke, and told me we can use our stock throttle body positioning sensor of our throttle body to replace the one that is broke on the JDM one . will it work or not? would like to buy it but , if the one of our stock throttle body won't work to replace the one on the JDM then it not going to be a good price because we will have to buy a throttle body position sensor that will work on the JDM one. thanks for any help on this.
P.S. ( the linkage has been modified for the lightning)

Lisa, if you are buying a used TB that is supposed to be for a Lightning and was purchased from JDM, then it should already be set up with the correct linkge. You can use the TPS from the stock throttle body on the single blade. It's a bolt on deal, just be careful when removing the screws, they are very tight from the factory and since they are phillips head, they strip really easy. Also, when you get the TPS installed and the TB on the truck, I suggest you have somebody with a scan tool check your TP volts at idle, to make sure it's under 1 volt. If it's over 1 volt, then the truck will be at part throttle mode at idle and use more gas. You can adjust the TPS a bit to correct it if it needs it.
