nice truck,just watch for the notoriuos plug spitting!My 2001,40k,spit no.3,and was going for no.7 ,I got lucky and caught it in time two coils later and good to go,It did not take any threads with it!Whew!

Well he is picking the bumper up this weekend. So will finally have the correct bumper on it.

Thanks man. Yea I am well aware of the plugs on these. But can never be too careful with them. I am gonna be on the lookout for some 8 thread heads but probably won't worry about it till I go fully built.

proper torque and you won't have to worry about a spit plug...


I pushed 15# of boost on my green truck for years (stock N/A long block) with 4 thread heads and people told me I was going to spit one...



well I'm still waiting for it to spit one out

Yea I am not too worried about it. Know plenty of people that haven't spit plugs and pushing a lot of boost and power. Still gonna keep an eye on it though.


Got the bumper painted and on. Updated pics up top.

Looks way better with blue bumper. I hear Billy fell in love with the color after the Texas Truck Shootout and started swapping his stuff over to yours so he could drive it. I mean it may just be a rumor, but that's what I hear.

I agree. My 4x4 looks good with the chrome bumpers but not the L.

Haha Yea I hear he is in love with the TB after the meet.
