APEX Motor sports is hosting a SVTOA Dyno Day and Car Show on August 26th at 8 a.m. I think that it would be cool if we all went so that we could finally meet each other - I am going for sure!!!! I hope to see some of you guys there!!

The following e-mail was sent to me by Bill Kaiser (Owner of APEX Motorsports):

"We're actually having an SVTOA (SVT Owners' Association) Dyno Day and car show here on 8/26, and I'm trying to get some Lightning guys to show up. Can you please post the following message to the F150 board? It's really for SVT products only. Thanks a lot!"

"We're proud to announce a NorCal SVTOA Dyno Day & Car Show at APEX Motorsports on Sunday, August 26th, at 8am! (www.svtoa.com.)
The dyno sessions will be $75 for three runs with air/fuel ratio monitoring. This is a 25% discount from our regular fee. (We will not be offering dyno tuning this day.)
We will also have a car show in the parking lot, so get those SVT products nice and shiny!
If you'd like to participate in this event, please send me an e-mail with your name, phone number, year/make/model of your SVT product, and if you want to participate in the dyno sessions and/or the car show. (If you'd like to dyno, please include a credit card number to hold your appointment.) The dyno schedule will be filled according to who e-mails me first. You'll be notified of your time slot via e-mail approximately two weeks before the event. Payment for the dyno sessions will be due immediately after the sessions and can be paid via cash, check, or charge.

Excellent find, man! I'm going to plan on being there. Do you think I could bring two cars? The L, of course, and my other car which is not an SVT, but is powered by an SVO engine.

My L is bone stock right now, so, I'd like to see how it compares to moded ones. Yours should be done by then, right?

You're right, its also a good time to meet some of the local L owners.

I am not sure about two cars - I would call and talk to bill, or use the above e-mail address. My truck should pretty much be done by then. I can pick up my truck from APEX on Tues. Then I need to make an appt with Dale's for the torque converter and line mod. Then Rearend Specialties for the 4.10's...... I don't know who I am going to have install the NOS. Then there is the lower pulley ...... if I ever receive it......

I actually went down to Apex on Saturday and talked to Bill...saw your truck on the lift. Looks good.

I'm signed up, but Bill said they are trying to restrict it to SVT vehicles. He said I can put my other car on standby.
