Red face Hotchkis Anti-Sway Bar Release...

Has anyone heard from JD at Hotchkis on the sway bar release yet? He told me @ 10 days last week, just curious. I have been waiting to instal the lowering kit together with the sway bars and I'm gettin' kinda anxious! I think I am #10 on the list. How about you guys?

The kits should be ready for shipping at the end of the week (approx Aug 3rd).

Me too. The rest of the stuff is on the shelf in the garage. Just need the bars so I can get busy. He told me the same about being able to ship late next week. I will probably check with him on Wednesday to see where ther are at. Hopefully their powder coater won't screw them up on delivery. I keep getting tempted to go out and install the springs now. Maybe going out and installing the spark plugs (yuck) will satisfy my need to turn wrenches.

Has anyone tried these sway bars yet? And are they compatible with all lowering kits? GL

Yes - we all have. That's why we're asking about when they'll be available for purchase.

Now Spike it's not nice to take advantage of other people's brain lapses.

YZ just in case you didn't catch on. No they hae not been relesed for sale yet. LOL.

Not sure if they are compatible with other lowering kits. They offer 2 kits, 1 for stock height, and the other is for their 1-2 drop. I would imagine you would have to change at least the end links if you are lower than that.

Silver-bolt:

You're right - I shouldn't have taken advantage of yzfr6, but I couldn't resist!

yzfr6:

You'll notice on this board that most us poke fun at others for ANY reason (hope you saw the humor). Regarding this thread and the other your posted regarding handling/cornering: don't test the cornering limits on the street or highway. If you find them, sooner or later you'll loose. Test them on a track.

Agreed.
I deff want to take mine to the street course in NH. I was just surprised at how unstable it was under hard braking. The story is long how I ended up in that point but Im jsut trying to tighting her up abit. And if i get to race it alot you can mess with me anytime i wont cry. Its just the sun in my eyes.
